Downloading Instructions For UpdtInvn.exe

This download is ONLY necessary if you are downloading the price list on one computer to transfer them to another computer running AMSWin on a computer that is not connected to the internet.  If your AMSWin computer has internet access you simply go to the Inventory menu and choose Query/Update Inventory Database and then Import Inventory List.  The needed files will be automatically downloaded for you.

1. Right click the UpdtInvn.exe hyperlink and select "Save Target As" (or equivalent in your browser).
2. Download the file to your hard drive.
3. Run the UpdtInvn.exe from anywhere on your computer.

*Note that this procedure simply copies all the necessary files to the correct location on your hard drive.  It does not update the prices in your database.  After you complete this procedure you must go to the "Inventory" - "Query/Update Inventory Database" - "Import Inventory List" menu in the AMSWin program to update your product list.
