SUMMARY

This feature allows the latest products and prices to be added to AMSWin automatically. The new stock list is contained in a file named invntry.txt (invntryc.txt for Canadian users).  The latest discount schedule is contained in a file named discount.ini (discounc.ini for Canadian users), and the shipping schedules are contained in a file named shipping.ini (shippinc.ini for Canadian users).  A copy of these files were installed on your computer during installation, there are copies of these files on the installation CD, and the latest files are also available on the AMSWin web site.  This feature is provided as a convenience to our users. We will try to keep all prices and schedules current, however AMSWin Software is not responsible for notifying you of changes in prices and will not be liable if a file is outdated or incorrect.  It is a good idea to check the AMSWin website periodically to see if updates are available for download.  Beginning with version 1.3.5 your prices, discount schedule and shipping schedules can be updated in one step if you have an available internet connection on the computer running the AMSWin program.  Below is a step-by-step guide for downloading and importing your price list and schedules.

PROCEDURE

The following procedure will automatically download and update the latest price list, discount, and shipping schedules.

1. Open AMSWin.
2. Click the "Inventory" menu.
3. Click "Query/Update Inventory Database"
4. Click "Import Inventory List".
5. Click "Import".
6. Follow the on-screen instructions.

You have completed the procedure.
