Instructions for installing AMSWin 1.4.1

1.  Set up folder AMSWin141 on the C: drive.

2.  Set up folder Backup within the C:\AMSWin141 folder

3.  Set up folder Install within the C:\AMSWin141 folder

4.  Download AMSWin141.zip into C:\AMSWin141\Install folder from http://www.amswin.com/support/private/AMSWin141.zip

5.  Unzip AMSWin141.zip into C:\AMSWin141\Install folder

6.  If AMSWin is already installed

     A.  Run current AMSWin

     B.  Go to File->Backup and create current backup in C:\AMSWin141\Backup

     C.  Close down current AMSWin

     D.  Go to Start->Control Panel->Add or Remove Programs

     E.  Uninstall AMSWin

     F.  Close Control Panel

7.  Right click on setup.exe in folder C:\AMSWin\Install and select Run As Administrator

8.  Change install folder to install into C:\AMSWin141

9. When the install is complete, in Windows Explorer go to the C:\AMSWin141 folder and create a shortcut for AMSWin

10. Rename the shortcut AMSWin141

11. Move the AMSWin141 shortcut to the desktop

12. Start AMSWin141

13. Go to File->New and create database AMSWin.mdb in C:\AMSWin141

14. If AMSWin had been installed previously, go to File->Restore and restore from backup in C:\AMSWin141\Backup
