Parting Words From Jamie and Jan Stewart

Former Owners of AMSWin Bid Devoted Users Farewell

04/11/2008 -- I can't believe my time with AMSWin is over now.  I thank Mr. Kelsey for allowing me to post to amswin.com one final time in an effort to say thank you to those of you who have helped us with AMSWin over the years.  Many of you provided suggestions to improve AMSWin, some of you tested new version for me, and others told their friends and down-line about it and encouraged them to use it themselves.  You are the reason AMSWin has been so successful.  I have so many fond memories of working with AMSWin users across the US and Canada, and I have loved the many friends and supporters I have met at AMSOIL University and the AMSOIL Convention.  Because AMSWin was the idea and passion of my father-in-law who has since passed on, and because you were so very supportive of me when I took over the business, it was very difficult to make the decision to give up responsibility of AMSWin.  But, after losing Frank it became much more difficult for me to devote the time to it that it deserved.  As my family has grown from two of us to four, the strain on my time has increased, and I became aware that if we truly wanted to see AMSWin be successful, we needed to let someone else take the helm... someone with appropriate experience and adequate time to devote to the business.  Someone who could build on what Frank and I had done to make AMSWin much better than it has ever been.  I am so pleased that AMSWin will be continued by Robert C. Kelsey and his wife Stephanie.  Robert has more than enough technical experience to handle supporting the product.  A computer programmer since 1965, Robert can program just about anything from mainframes to stand alone processors.  He has even taught programming at Hennepin Technical College.  Believe me, you are in great hands.  I look forward to seeing how Robert's talents will improve AMSWin, and in turn make it an even greater asset to your business.   He has a wonderful temperament, and I know that you will enjoy working with him.  I trust you will give him the same support you have given me.  My wife Jan and I thank you for the opportunity to have known you and to have worked with you all these years.  God bless you all!
