AMSWin Software For Sale

Without a buyer, support will end on March 31, 2008.  March 1 price change will be posted.

After 18 years the AMSWin software business is for sale.  Frank Forbes created the first version of the software in 1986 to help him run is own dealership.  By 1988 Frank began selling it to his friends and down-line dealers.  In 1996 Jamie Stewart partnered with Frank to write a Windows version of his popular software.  In 1999 the Windows version of AMSWin was introduced.  Frank passed away of colon cancer in 2002, and Jamie and his wife Jan have continued supporting AMSWin since that time.

AMSOIL has been very supportive of the AMSWin software as a help to dealers around the world.  They have shown willingness to recommend the software to others and to provide price updates from their on-line system.

If someone would like to purchase these assets with the intent of continuing support for the software, we will entertain an offer. If no offer is accepted by March 31, 2008, support for AMSWin will discontinue.  In the interest of treating people fairly, we have not accepted new orders since December 31, 2007.  Orders will not be accepted until AMSWin is sold. 

AMSWin will post the AMSOIL March 1 price change to ensure that users may continue using AMSWin beyond the March 31, 2008 deadline.  Existing users will be able to continue using AMSWin without support indefinitely.  The new owner will be responsible for new price lists, bug fixes or enhancements after March 31.
